Essential oils

Tea Tree

Tea tree oil is a nearly colourless essential oil. It has nothing to do with tea, but is actually derived from a tree called Narrow-leaved Tea-tree. This oil can be used a wide range of purposes in skin care and hair care and can, unlike many other essential oils, be used undiluted on the skin.

acne prone skin, oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin

Usage

Undiluted

  • Apply to zits over night as an acne treatment.
  • Can heal herpes, warts and any kind of fungal infections such as athlete’s foot and fungal nail infection. Apply sparingly to affected area 1-3 times daily.

Skin care

  • Add 10-20 drops per cup of any homemade skin care product if you’re suffering from acne, oily skin or dry skin. Works especially well in skin toners, face masks, body oils
  • Works great in deodorant thanks to its antibacterial properties. You can even use it undiluted as a deodorant, but I suggest adding about 20 drops per cup of any deodorant recipe.
